Chelsea Vs Arsenal- Preview

Till Oct 28 2012, that dreadful night happened, the above line was very much applicable for chelsea. Since then the events has been nothing less than ugly(from a die hard chelsea fan point of view). Right from Firing, Hiring, Booing, Boozing....what not....These are not things which i as a chelsea fan would wanted to happen since till that day, i thought we would definitely win the EPL..So 3 months hence here we stand stranded, behind the Manu Clubs grasping for breath @ Home.....But the brigther things are more...We are getting settled as a youthful team, we found a good firing striker atlast, Coach has bought certain quality technically, Injuries are less....and yes we are progressing..with good away wins as well....

Preview: Chelsea Vs Arsenal on Sunday, 20th Jan 2013...(6:55 PM IST , Sky& Espn)

Chelsea : Following a heartbreaking 2-2 Draw against Saints, we would have to step up the gear if want the hostile home atmostphere, to settle and be a real home ground. Analysis follows:

Defence- I would want Rafa not to unsettle defence much. If our JT doesnt play i would want, Azpi, Ivanovic, Cahill & Cole to manage the defence. I some how feel insecure playing, Luiz in the defence.However it doesnt take any credit away from Luiz, but i guess we get the best of him when he goes forward. Against a rejuvanated, Theo (Atlast he signed it :-)) with Podolsky & Ox Chamberlain, defence needs to guard themselves so that we avoid a debacle.

Midfield- David Luiz without doubt with either Lampard/Ramirez. I guess Lampard would be a preferred choice, since he is always a Big match player. Luiz always opens it for the Attacking midfield with the Trio Mata, Oscar and Hazard supporting the striker. However Hazard -Cole combination needs to step up consistently for blues match as their combined brilliance can cause havoc. I doubt whether Oscar would play since he is not an automatic choice for Rafa.Then we would see, Luiz, Ramirez, Lampard, Mata, Hazard. The defensive midfield needs to step up against trio of cazorla, wilshere and diaby(if he plays).

Attack- BA and only BA...

My Verdict- 3-1 or a 2 goal win for Chelsea...
